We've been working hard on expanding our products so you can expect to see even more great tasting herb and spice creations in 2008.

New blends like Mixed Spice, Garam Masala and Thai Seasoning will be available in the new year. We've also been developing our oil and vinegar infusions. Stay tuned for updates.
 

Use your herb and spice blends to create great tasting dips and spreads during the holiday season. They're simple to make yet delicious and are great for large gatherings.

Just combine a couple of teaspoons (or more to taste) of our Savoury, Italian or Pesto blends with sour cream, let it sit, and voilą, you've got an easy vegetable dip to go with that platter.

Or add them to softened cream cheese and serve with a platter of crackers, breads and vegetables.






Savoury Cheese Lollipops

Yields: about 50 lollipops

Prep time: 15 minutes
Chill time: at least 1 hour, preferably overnight

Ingredients:
  • 250 ml imperial cheese, softened at room temperature
  • 250 grams cream cheese, softened at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds, roasted and crushed
  • 1/2 cup pecans, roasted and crushed
  • 1 bag pretzel sticks
  • 2 tbsp Herbelicious Savoury Herb Blend
Method:
  1. Mix imperial cheese and cream cheese together in a large mixing bowl until smooth and all one colour.
  2. Add herb blend and mix well.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Combine almonds and pecans in a seperate bowl.
  5. Form small balls with cheese mixture, roll in nut mixture and place on large tray.
  6. Insert pretzel sticks right before serving to make upside down lollipops.
